| Ingredient | 1 cup - Toor Dal, 2.5 cup - water, 1/2 cup - green mango (chopped), 1/2 cup - grated Coconut, 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder, 6 - dry Red Chillies, 10 to 12 Cloves - Garlic, 1/2 tsp - black pepper, Corns, 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds, Salt to taste, 1 tbsp - oil. |

| Method of Preparation | Pressure cook dal with water and turmeric till soft and mash. Heat oil in a small frying pan and fry grated coconut, turmeric powder, red chillies, garlic, pepper and cumin. Cool and grind to a paste, add green mango and salt to the dal, simmer for 5 mins. Add the ground paste and simmer for two more minutes. Serve. |
