Cooperative Plant Pest Report 4 :750

Abstract : Adults of Pseudaonidia trilobitiformis (Green), which had not previously been known in the continental USA, were found causing 20% infestation of the leaves of young mango trees in a nursery at Miami, Florida, in March 1979. Further adults were collected on Ixora sp. at Miami Springs in September. This species was previously known in Puerto Rico, Central and South America, Africa, Australia and various parts of Asia; it is recorded as an important pest of cashew, citrus and cacao and also infests coffee and various nut and fruit trees.
