First records of mango scale, Radionaspis indica (Marlatt) (Hem., Diaspididae), from Ghana and Uganda.

Abstract : R. indica was detected in England on the stems of mango imported from directly from Ghana and Uganda. The pest was intercepted in Kent from samples imported from Ghana, in Middlesex from samples imported from Uganda, and in West Sussex from samples imported from Ghana. Cheletogenes spp. (specifically C. ornatus for samples from Ghana) was also detected. This is thought to be the first report in England of R. indica on mango from Ghana and Uganda.
