Two new species of foliicolous fungi from India.

Abstract : During a periodic survey for the collection and study of foliicolous fungal forms in India, a large number of specimens were collected. Two new foliicolous fungal forms, i.e. Monochaetia anacardiacearum and Monochaetia fici, infecting the living leaves of Mangifera indica and Ficus elastica, respectively, are described, illustrated and compared to allied taxa.
