Abstract : Fifteen mango varieties/hybrids were evaluated for physico-chemical characteristics of their fruits grown at Agriculture Research Station, Balajigapade, Chikkaballapur taluk, Kolar district (Karnataka). Mallika, Baneshan and Ratna were found to have higher fruit weight, volume, length and width of the fruit (yield attributes). Similarly, higher pulp recovery and lower skin and stone weight were observed in Sindhu, Mallika and Baneshan. Highest TSS was noticed in Ratna (22.23 B°) followed by Mallika (21.86 B°). Dashehari recorded higher total sugars (16.60%), non-reducing sugars (12.56%) and sugar acid ratio (51.8:1).
