Fruit drop, yield and quality of mango as influenced by biozyme and urea sprays.

Abstract : An experiment was conducted in Madhya Pradesh, India, to reduce fruit drop, and increase fruit yield and quality of 13-year-old mango cv. Sunderja using foliar applied urea (0 and 4%) + biozyme crop (0 and 1000 ppm) at preflowering and pea stages. Single and double spray treatment with 4% urea + 0 ppm biozyme gave maximum yield, fruit drop, average fruit weight and total soluble solids content. On the other hand, the percentages of pulp, peel and acidity were highest with single and double spray of 0% urea + 1000 ppm biozyme.
