Abstract : Mango fruits were sprayed with Polaris [glyphosine] at 0.5 or 5.0% and harvested 10 days later and the effects on fruit quality were assessed at harvest and 10 days later. Fruit total sugars and TSS contents at harvest were greatly increased by the higher Polaris concentration, and the fruits were softer than those of water-sprayed controls; 10 days later, however, treatment effects on fruit quality were much less marked.
