Study on physical constituents of improved mango cultivars under sub arid zone of Maharashtra.

Abstract : Studies on physical constituents were carried out on twenty-one improved cultivars under sub arid zone of Maharashtra, India during 2002-03. The cultivars Safeda, produced the maximum yield followed by cultivars Mulgoa, Totapuri, Rajapuri and Kawasji Patel. The keeping quality was maximum (13 days) in cultivars Dashed and Paid followed by cultivars Alphonso and Totapuri. The percentage of pulp content was maximum in Alphonso followed by cultivars Vanraj, Rajapuri, Neelum and Langra.
