Screening of mango genotypes against anthracnose disease.

Abstract : A field experiment was conducted in Dharwad, Karnataka, India during the kharif season of 1993-94 to evaluate the performance of 53 mango genotypes against anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata]. Two genotypes (Amarpali and Dasehari) were resistant and 10 (Alampur Baneshan, Baneshan, Thanjir, Lalpairi, Lucknowsafed, Najuk Pasand, Olour, Ratna, Swarnajhangir and Neelum × Yerramalgaa 2/12) were moderately resistant to the disease.
