Abstract : This book is a manual divided into two portions, one on diagnostics, insect pests and diseases and their management using location-specific integrated pest management (IPM) technology, and another on details of the IPM concept and relevant information on crop protection measures in cotton, pigeon peas, chickpeas, groundnuts, tomatoes, cabbages, mangoes and apples. Since biological control is an important part of IPM technology, it is given special emphasis in the second portion as well.
