Paclobutrazol residues in 'Tommy Atkins' mango fruits (Mangifera indica L.).

Abstract : Laboratory experiments were conducted to determine the presence of paclobutrazol residues in 'Tommy Atkins' mango fruits, harvested from trees treated with paclobutrazol during 1996 or 1997 (single application of 5 ml a.i./m) and 1996-97 (split-doses of 5 and 2.5 ml a.i./m). No paclobutrazol residues were detected in fruits harvested from trees with single paclobutrazol application, while very low residue concentrations were detected when paclobutrazol was applied during 1996-97.
