Abstract : Several observations of a mango plant in April and September 1996 which dried up and rejuvenated in a field in Haryana, India led to the development of a theory that some growth factors are responsible for rejuvenation and that some plant diseases are caused by deficiency and/or imbalance of essential plant nutrients not due to the attack by microorganisms.
