Abstract : Some live specimens of Sternochetus mangiferae were intercepted from stones of the mango varieties Bappakai, Kurukan, Starch and EC 95862 from Bangalore, Karnataka, for quarantine clearance for export to Oman. Implications for control of the pest are discussed.
