Abstract : Neonate larvae of the tropical warehouse moth, Cadra cautella (Walker) (Lepidoptera: Phycitidae) were exposed to low concentrations of DipelŽ (a commercial formulation of Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki), the organophosphate, malathion (as MalatonŽ) and DipelŽ + malathion, on dried mango. There was a significant reduction in the duration of developmental periods and reproductive potential of C. cautella.
