Effect of deblossoming on panicle regeneration and control of malformation in mango.

Abstract : Deblossoming between 20th January and 25th February regenerated new panicles in the same season under conditions of Pantnagar, Uttar Pradesh, and these panicles were free from malformation. Regenerated panicles bore fruits similar to healthy ones in yield and quality. Partial deblossoming failed to control malformation. Deblossoming after February failed to regenerate panicles.
