Abstract : The new mango hybrid Dusehri X Mahmooda is particularly susceptible to fruit canker caused by Pseudomonas mangiferae indicae. Dipping the fruit in a 250 p.p.m. solution of Agrimycin 100 (streptomycin + oxytetracycline) was most effective in arresting disease development, the next best treatment being 50 p.p.m. streptomycin.
