Abstract : About 50 stones each from 4 mango cultivars were received at an experimental farm in Karnataka for quarantine clearance for export to Oman in 1997. These were X-rayed to elicit infestation by Sternochetus mangiferae. Infestation levels were in the range 2.2-44.2%.
