Effect of paclobutrazol on fruiting behaviour of mango.

Abstract : Uniformly bearing mango trees of cultivars Dashehari, Langra, Chausa and Bombay Green were treated with 2.3 g paclobutrazol per metre of tree canopy spread on 25 August 1994 followed by a spray of 1.5% KNO3 on 25 October, 1994. Paclobutrazol advanced flowering in Dashehari, Langra and Bombay Green and increased the number of early flowers in Chausa.
