Himayuddin variety mango in Rumani groves may help in getting better size fruits.

Abstract : In cross-pollination studies with Rumani mango cv. as the female parent, Himayuddin as the pollinator resulted in 50% fruit set and increased fruit size, compared with that of the open-pollinated Rumani fruits. With Jehangir as a pollinator, however, fruit size was reduced. Data are also presented on the physical and chemical characteristics of the fruits.
