Abstract : The fungi involved in this disease in Guangdong are Dothiorella dominicana (most prevalent), Botryodiplodia theobromae and Phomopsis mangiferae. In trials during 1990-92, the best control was given by dipping fruits in sporgon (1 g a.i./litre) or imazalil + Tecto [thiabendazole] (1 g/litre) for 2 min before storage at 29°C for 15 d.
