Abstract : In a trial carried out in Rahuri, Maharashtra, 3 mango hybrids developed at Kodur in Andhra Pradesh and the commercial cultivar Kesar were planted in 1976 and yield and fruit characters were recorded every year from 1985 to 1993 and the data pooled. Hybrid No. 3/7 produced higher yields and better quality fruits than hybrids No. 2/4 and No. 1/7. Although hybrid No. 3/7 did not produce higher quality fruits than Kesar, it did produce higher yields (61.355 vs. 55.96 kg/plant).
