Abstract : In a trial in the 1988/89 and 1989/90 seasons, mango cv. Dashehari trees were given soil and foliar applications of NPK, copper sulfate, zinc sulfate and borax. After 2 years, root and leaf Cu, Zn and B contents were highest with 1000 g N, 500 g P2O5, 1000 g K20 and 500 g each of copper sulfate, zinc sulfate and borax [per plant] as a soil application plus 0.6% N, 0.6% P2O5 and 1.0% K2O as a foliar spray. An additional spray of 0.2% copper sulfate and 0.4% each of zinc sulphate and borax on developing fruits increased trace element concentrations in fruits.
