Abstract : Applications of 10 p.p.m. NAA + 2% urea or 20 p.p.m. 2,4,5-T + 2% urea as a foliar spray just before fruit set (when the protruding ovary became visible to the naked eye) were the most effective treatments for increasing fruit retention in mango cv. Totapuri. In cv. Suvarnarekha, 20 p.p.m. NAA + 2% urea or 10 p.p.m. NAA + 2% urea were the most effective treatments.
