Abstract : The experiment to study the effectiveness of first and second flush on the success percentage of 'T' grafting in mango was carried out. The first and second flushes defoliated 15 days ahead of grafting and also at the time of grafting were used for comparative studies. The first flush, proved most effective showing 90% success as compared with first flush undefoliated. The scion wood took least days to sprout in first (13.15-13.75) and second (15.50-16.5) flush. However, maximum number of shoots were noted in second flush (2.55-2.60).
