Abstract : Symptoms of zinc and manganese deficiency in avocado and mango trees growing in Tenerife are described. Foliar levels of zinc and manganese in deficient and non-deficient trees were determined. The effect of soil chemical properties on the development of zinc and manganese deficiency symptoms is outlined.
