Abstract : Mango inflorescences in Israel were found to be infested by Frankliniella occidentalis and other undetermined species. Population levels of the pest were relatively low during March and increased during April-May. The incidence of damaged fruit in 1991 was 10%, which was lower than in previous years. A mixture of Thionex [endosulfan] and Divipan [dichlorvos] controlled the thrips population for a few days.
