Abstract : Research reports are presented in the following 5 sections: (1) Ornamental crops (assessments on Dendrobium, rose, Kangaroo Paw (Anigozanthos spp.) and Gypsophila cultivars; assessment of annual cut flower crops; foliage plant shipping trial; nutrition of Western Australian native plants in Central Australia; propagation of Thryptomene maisonneuvii, a potential cut flower crop); (2) Annual crops (rockmelon, watermelon, sweet potato, potato and Capsicum cultivar trials; selection of cucurbit breeding lines; Brassica spp. seed production); (3) Perennial crops (cultivar trials in mangoes and asparagus; flowering and fruiting of mangoes; citrus rootstocks; phenology of date cultivars; quality evaluation of tangelos; weed control in asparagus; observations on carambolas [Averrhoa carambola] and sapodillas; rambutan flowering and fertilization; flowering and pollination of durians; flowering and grafting of mangosteens; grafting of abiu (Pouteria caimito)); (4) Irrigation research (rockmelon irrigation trial; investigation of rambutan root distribution; monitoring of soil moisture status in commercial mango and rambutan orchards); and (5) Postharvest research (physiological browning of rambutans and mangoes; sapburn of mango).
