Studies on loss of weight of mango fruits as influenced by cuticles and lenticels.

Abstract : Both the mean weight loss (g/day) in storage and the number of lenticels per fruit of 5 cultivars studied followed the order: Mallika > Totapuri > Pairi > Dashehari > Alphonso (r = 0.829, significant at 10%). Weight loss was not significantly correlated with cuticular thickness.
