Abstract : 17-year-old mango trees (cv. Langra) were treated in mid-Sep. 1982 and 1983 with 2 levels of N (0.5 or 1.0 kg), P (1.0 or 2.0 kg P2O5) and K (0.5 or 1.0 kg K2O) singly or combined (N1P1K1 and N2P2K2). N2P2K2 application resulted in the greatest shoot growth, leaf and flower numbers, fruit set, fruit retention, fruit size, % TSS, ascorbic acid and sugar contents, but the lowest total fruit acidity and the shortest duration of flowering.
