Abstract : The attractiveness of various light-trap colours (black, natural, blue-violet, yellow and red) in various sizes of kerosene lamp wick to Idioscopus spp. on mango was evaluated at Cebu, Philippines, in January-February 1986. Natural light was the most attractive to adults of I. clypealis and I. niveosparsus. Its attractiveness increased with wick size (one-quarter to three-quarters of an inch) or light intensity, especially when there was no moon.
