Abstract : A study of the changes in nutrient contents of leaves of bearing and non-bearing shoots from Apr. to Nov. showed that the former had lower concentrations of nutrients. A decrease in the levels, or stable low levels of nutrients in bearing shoots were observed from Apr. to July, the period corresponding to fruit development.
