New record of Orgyia postica Walk. as a pest of mango.

Abstract : The lymantriid Orgyia postica was observed on mango trees in Uttar Pradesh, India, during June-August 1987. Larvae fed on the stalk, skin and pulp of fruits and on new flushes of leaves. During the 3rd week of June and the 1st week of July 0.25-30.00% of trees were infested.
