Preliminary investigations on the storage and ripening of 'Totapuri' mangoes in the Sudan.

Abstract : Some chilling injury was observed when Totapuri mangoes were stored at 6 or 13 deg C. Ripening of fruits stored at 20 and 32 deg was delayed by the use of paraffin wax, fungicide wax or, at 32 deg , by maleic hydrazide. Fruit ripening was hastened by ethephon.
