Abstract : Physico-chemical studies indicated that fruits attained harvest maturity 120 days after fruit set. The specific gravity, acidity percentage, TSS:acid and sugar:acid ratios were good indices for ascertaining fruit maturity. The standard indices for judging the fruit maturity were found to be specific gravity of about 1.0 and TSS:acid ration above 12.0.
