Abstract : Abstracts are given of the numerous papers that were presented at a conference on agricultural entomology in Israel held in that country in February 1983. The abstracts are presented under the following headings: ecology of insects and various methods of biological control (7 abstracts), chemical control (8 abstracts), orchard and vineyard pests (6 abstracts), pests of vegetables and flowers (9 abstracts), pests of citrus (7 abstracts) and pests of field crops (4 abstracts).
