Studies on epicotyl grafting in mango.

Abstract : Two- 4- or 6-day-old seedlings were grafted with scions of the cv. Totapuri in the 3rd week of August. The scions were defoliated on the tree for 3, 5 or 7 days prior to grafting. The grafts were held in a greenhouse and assessed for success 150 days after grafting. The best combination was 4-day-old seedlings and 5 days of defoliation.
