Abstract : Fruits of the cv. Paheri, harvested on 5 December and dipped for 2 minutes in solutions of ethephon at 250-2000 p.p.m., were assessed for Brix, acidity and skin colour at 1-8 days after treatment. All treatments gave similar results and enhanced ripening by 2-3 days.
