Abstract : Uronides and saccharides were determined in the ethanol-insoluble residues of fruits of raspberry (cv. Sirius), strawberry (cv. Senga Sengana), morello cherry, apple (cv. Golden Delicious), pear (cv. Doyenné du Comice), pawpaw, pineapple, mango, carrot, cucumber and onion. The findings are discussed in relation to the analytical methods used.
