Abstract : The new cv., selected at Zrifin Experimental Station, is described. The tree is small and starts bearing in its third year. The fruit is similar to cv. Kent, but is more oblong. Fruits mature in mid-August. At maturity half the fruit surface shows a violet flush, turning red and orange. The flesh is fibreless with a sweet to acid taste.
