Abstract : A field evaluation of different eco-friendly management options was tried against mango leafhoppers during 2013-14 at Sadani Village of Dharwad district (Karnataka). There were 14 treatment combinations, which included azadirachtin, entomopathogens, insect growth regulator and yellow sticky traps along with a check chemical and an untreated control. Application of bufrofezin (1.25 ml/l) was found superior over rest of the management strategies by recording lower number of leafhoppers (1.69/panicle). Combined application of azadirachtin 10000 ppm (1 ml/l) along with Lecancillium lecanii (2 g/l) was comparable to that of bufrofezin 25 EC (1.25 ml/l). Significantly higher number of fruits per tree (254), individual fruit weight (167.42 g), fruit yield per tree (42.51 kg) and fruit yield per hectare (52.28 q) were recorded which accounted for 423.32 per cent increase in yield with bufrofezin.
