Abstract : This paper focuses on the importance of the type of crop and location on the impact of climate change on South African agriculture. The identification of viable adaptive techniques that can be used to mitigate potentially negative effects of future climate on crops, such as maize, wheat, soyabeans, grapes, citrus and mangoes, are also discussed.
