Abstract : An experiment was carried out to study the effect of different months from June 7 to May 8 on the success of soft wood grafting in mango. Higher graft success (80.56%) was obtained during the month of June this closely followed by the July, August, September and October (78.34, 65.56, 71.67 and 53.89 respectively) and growth and success of the graft done during these months was higher has compare to all other months, least graft success was recorded in grafts made during the month of November and December (35.02) and 32.23 respectively. This indicates that the minimum temperature and relative humidity had significantly positive correlation with percentage of success in all the conditions and seasons.
