The aims of the study were to know distribution maps of fruit plants, population character of fruit plants and community perceptions of fruit plants owner along the tourist route Kemiren, Tamansuruh, and Kampunganyar Village, Banyuwangi.

Abstract : The methods include mapping selected fruit plants (Mangifera indica, Nephelium lappaceum, Garcinia mangostana, Durio zibethinus, Syzigium aqueum, Psidium guajava) with recorded coordinates by GPS for each of fruit plants. Population characters of fruit plants were identified by observing the plants associated vitality and periodicity. Interviews conducted with public perception and questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by processing coordinate data and observational data population character of fruit plants through the application of GIS base map. Mapping the public perception was obtained by interviews and questionnaires by Likert scale and then mapped the spatial distribution of GIS applications. The results showed that the distribution of fruit plants in the home garden scattered along the track of tourism village of Kemiren are 76 trees, Tamansuruh are 53 trees, and Kampunganyar are 40 trees. The condition of fruit plants grow well in a state, sprouting, flowering and fruiting, these caused by the time of the study, it has entered a period time for fruiting and harvesting. Public enthusiasm were high for making fruit plants along the tourism village's route as a tourist attraction.
