A building, constructional or mouldable material comprises a vegetable fibre, cemented together by an oxychloride or magnesium sulphate cement, containing ferrous metal in a finely divided state. The vegetable fibre may be wood wool, wood shavings, or sawdust, particularly from pine or mango wood; and grass, hair, coir, or jute.
