Abstract : The invention discloses a preparation method of a bentonite-based mango preservative. The components and the weight ratio of the materials are as follows: bentonite:citric acid:distilled water equals to 5-20:0.5-1.0:150-300. The bentonite-based mango preservative is used for filmed preservation of mangos and can remarkably restrain the peels of the mangos from turning yellow and the fruits from decaying, reduce the loss of water, restrain the propagation of micro-organisms and maintain high hardness and Vc content of the fruits; and simultaneously,
