Utkarsh Singh Chauhan, is a mango orchardist belongs to Village Mall, District Lucknow, (Uttar Pradesh). Utkarsh Singh Chauhan, is an owner of mango orchard of an area of approximate 10 acre. Average age of his orchard is about 35 years. 8 commercial and 6 non-commercial varieties have been planted by Utkarsh Singh Chauhan in his orchard for different purposes. The total commercial varieties in his orchard are 8 out of which Dashehari, Langra and Chausa are the important varieties. Besides these commercial varieties, 6 non-commercial varieties have also been sustaining in his orchard. Because of its source of income, mango growing area and self interest and to increase his source of income, he collected different mango varieties from self multiplication. He is also serving society by sharing all his varieties to the surrounding areas. He is earning about Rs. 10000/- from his non-commercial varieties. He requires multiplication of varieties and proper management of insect pest and disease to conserve his green wealth and ultimately to maintain & enhance his source of income.

As per the perception of Utkarsh Singh Chauhan, Dashehari is excellent quality of mango variety which ripe during medium season. Taste of raw fruit is sour, flavour of ripe fruit is excellent, unsuitable for pickle, suitable for table, unsuitable for sucking, medium size fruit, green yellow peel, yellow pulp, reason of demand is taste, appearance. no disease has been found to be resisted in this variety.
