Sanjay Singh, is a mango orchardist belongs to Village Mall, District Lucknow, (Uttar Pradesh). Sanjay Singh, is an owner of mango orchard of an area of approximate 20 acre. Average age of his orchard is about 40 years. 7 commercial and 8 non-commercial varieties have been planted by Sanjay Singh in his orchard for different purposes. The total commercial varieties in his orchard are 7 out of which Dashehari, Langra, Chausa and Lucknow Safeda are the important varieties. Besides these commercial varieties, 8 non-commercial varieties have also been sustaining in his orchard. Because of its self interest and source of income and to increase his source of income, he collected different mango varieties from self multiplication. He is also serving society by sharing all his varieties to the surrounding areas. He requires multiplicatio and lpanting of new and old varieties to conserve his green wealth and ultimately to maintain & enhance his source of income.

Mango Varieties of Sanjay Singh

As per the perception of Sanjay Singh, The quality of fruits has been found excellent in Dashehari. Time of ripening is also medium. In raw stage, it tastes sour. On the other hand the fruits are excellent flavoured after ripening. The variety has resistance capacity against no . The variety is also capable to resist no.
